Everybody is a star is a project I worked on from
May till September 2006



Elements I use in this serie are:
* Sensuality
* Glamour (everybody is a star)
*' 50's/ 60's perfection (Think about the 50's and 60's posters and -house keeping- commericals from that time)

This project is a mixture of 2 concepts. I want to prove that everybody is a star. Think about Big brother, Idols, starmaker, America's next top model, and so on..
The media works hard to create a - temporary- VIP out of a nobody. This is visible in my serie in the shape of a certain glamour, perfection, sensuality and expression of the models.

The serie is based on all the elements mentioned above, but I dont take it too literally. I use the element as an atmosphere in the pictures
This is the curent selection, this selction might change in the future.

The following pictures are some of the sketches that brought me to the result; Unfortunately sometimes you have to "Kill your Darlings" to get to a good final selection.
